Playlist of the day: 57 tracks of T-Swift :D
One of my friends posted her bucket list on her blog today, and I'm shamelessly stealing the idea. I'm a little bit obsessed with my bucket list, and I change/add to it approximately every 5.48 seconds. I also have it categorized.
Musical Bucket List
Concerts to see
Taylor Swift-No matter how pop she gets, no matter how childishly vindictive her lyrics are sometimes, I adore her. I went to see her in concert in 2007, I think, shortly after Teardrops On My Guitar was getting big, but I'd love to go again.Imagine Dragons- I've actually been to two of their concerts already, but they go on the list because they're absolutely the BEST live band I've ever heard, and also because they were on my bucket list for quite a while.David Archuleta-Forever my homeboy. I went to see him in......2009, maybe? He opened for Demi Lovato, and it was great.- Paramore--ALL TIME favorite band in the history of ever. I was almost able to see them at Warped a few years back, but the timing just barely didn't work. Twice.
- Megan & Liz--Ask anyone who's known me for more than five minutes this year. I'm a recent but die-hard Macer and will love them forever. I also stalk their social media waaaaay more than is socially acceptable.
- Honorable mention: Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, The Ready Set, Owl City, and Flyleaf.
Other
- Learn the guitar-- I'm currently in the process of doing so, but I'm super excited for the day when it's effortless.
- Upload an original song to YouTube--Yep, I write them. Nope, I don't know how to write music, so all the notes are in my head. I sound kinda like a dying frog when I sing, so if I can, I'll try to get someone to sing it for me. However, if I can't...you may be hearing my lurrrvley voice on the internet someday. *Disclaimer: I have no hopes for being famous. Unless Disney hears it and asks me to voice a frog for a sequel to The Princess and The Frog. That'd be legit.*
Traveling Bucket List
![]() |
- NYC--visit only. I think I'd really like the pace, but not so much the atmosphere. I guess I'll see!
- An ocean--I've NEVER seen one. While I'm there, I really really really really want to see some baby sea turtles.
- Universal Studios in FL--5 words: Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
- Niagara Falls--It seems like it would be a really pretty place to go...plus it means I can get a passport and waltz on over to Canada.
- LA--I feel like everyone needs to go...maybe just to see where all the crazies live. Also, to be on the Ellen Show.
- Europe--Mostly Great Britain, but also Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Norway.
- Australia--Those drop bears scare the living death out of me, though, so someone's gonna have to go with me.
- Chicago--It seems like a really quirky place to me. Also, a great place to hit the music scene. :D
- El Salvador--People to meet, places to go...
- Greece--The Parthenon, the Acropolis...I'd die and go to Olympus.
- Honorable mention: Nauvoo, Egypt, Seattle, Palmyra, and D.C. (again).
Educational Bucket List
- Learn ASL-Once again, working on this one. I actually went to Sign Language Club today, and I forgot how much I missed it!!!! HK]YIFHJVJKIL HULH!! I'm having a signing hangover right now...
- Learn how to dance--Pretty sure I dance whiter than the whitest white kid ever and I'm brown.
- Learn how to sing--I'm hoping my frog-voice has potential.
- Learn Latin--Because nothing says, "I'm smarter than you" like "Plus ego intelligens quam tu."
- Learn fencing--It looks SO. COOL!!
- Learn how to ice skate--like a pro. Not on my rear end like the last time I was at the rink.
- Learn a martial art--Or boxing. Something where I can injure people for fun.
Miscellaneous Bucket List
- Live in Nashville--It's city and country smashed together into one amazing ball of happy.
- Publish a novel--THIS. THISTHISTHIS. And when I'm famous, maybe I'll feel like going to a high school reunion.
- Have a movie-worthy kiss--First, because who doesn't? Second, because I think karma owes me something that epic. Also a New Year's Eve and under the mistletoe kiss.
- Play Harry Potter Monopoly--WHY don't they make this a game???
- Be in a renaissance fair--"Get the hence, wench!!"
- Go on a Mormon mission--If words could explain how much I want to go...hopefully I'll be able to send in papers next October.
- Run a long race--I'm not putting a label like "marathon" or "half marathon" on it, because it makes me want to throw up.
- Be able to do a standing flip--I can't even touch my toes. Wouldn't it be awesome if I worked myself up to a flip?
- Try being a vegetarian--Just for kicks and giggles. And to save money.
- Live in a foreign country for at least six months--preferably somewhere that speaks English.
- Work in a haunted house--I want to be a zombie. Or a serial killer. Or a serial-killing zombie.
- Bungee jump--Because if I can conquer my fear of heights long enough to do it, I can do anything.
As Ever,
Mandi

YES. This is excellent. I want to make a bucket list too..... Also, they DON'T have Harry Potter Monopoly?! WHAT? Also, I will be reading your novel. :)
